I was several times in Marko's Monastery St. Dimitrios. Every time in my head I had a sense that this is a wonderful place. In recent times monastery rooms were renovated. The place now is similar to the active Museum. Once the place had an old library with old manuscripts. Now is the female monastery.

- Markov Monastery is located south of the village of Markova Sušica, Marko River in the valley, twenty km from Skopje. In the monastery is the church of Sv. Demetrios and imposing Church bell. Gate of the monastery is made from solid wood, there is a thread and oven, kettle for baking brandy, well with cold water and a very old mill.The Name of Marko's Monastery is got to the name of national hero King Marko. Church of St. Demetrios was built in the year 1345 which testifies to the label above the southern gate of the inner side of the church. The church was rebuilt by King Vukasin, a complete and vivid by his son Mark (between 1366 and 1371-72 years). In the beginning of the nineteenth century in the monastery as his Igumen living and working Macedonian writer Cyril Pejčinovik.
